Chris Brown the felon???

Won't attend the Grammy's

There's a shadow over Mr. Grammy today.
It's Grammy day here in Los Angeles and here comes the News Flash! It seems Chris Brown who was scheduled to perform tonight won't be in the house following his late night escapades. There are reports that around 12:30 a.m., this morning Chris Brown may have been involved in an altercation with an unknown woman in a limousine.

The latest gossip around the city is that Brown and a woman were riding around town (In the Hancock Park area of L.A.) when an argument ensued. The two exited the vehicle and the argument escalated. The woman was injured and subsequently identified Chris Brown as her attacker.

Chris Brown

At the time of this posting Chris Brown is on the run and has canceled his performance tonight at the Grammy's. His Girlfriend, Rihanna, who was also scheduled to perform has canceled as well. Speculation is that she doesn't want to deal with the many questions from the press and others........

Stay tuned as this story unfolds.

Update: 2/9/09

The Los Angeles Times, (see link) citing police sources, identified the victim as singer Rihanna -- Robyn Rihanna Fenty -- a fellow R&B star and Brown's girlfriend. Rihanna also did not show up at the Grammys where she too was scheduled to perform.
Asked to comment on the reports of Rihanna's involvement in the reported altercation and her absence at the Grammys, the star's publicist told ABC News, "Rihanna is well. Thank you for concern and support."
Representatives for Brown did not immediately respond to ABC News' calls for comment.
Brown, 19, and Rihanna, 20, were reportedly all smiles at a pre-Grammy party hosted at record mogul Clive Davis' home Saturday night. The two have been dating for about a year.

It's been a tough week for entertainers and competitors this week.

Michael Phelps - Yikes!

And Alex Rodriguez, - AROD - allegedly caught using a non-recreational performance enhancing drug!

The Michael Phelps picture was the first of these scandals that I saw online. It is just so sad. He had so much in his grasp and was such a role model.

Maybe this will be a wake-up call and he'll grow up enough to be the person he's meant to be.

So true. Around the web there are posts indicating that the person who took the photo of Phelps got a whopping $5,000. Makes you wonder.
