Standing Down!

Well it appears that the ransom note and package sent to my house was all a farce. As it turns out, Speedcathollydale is safe and in good hands. So I've called my friend Jack Bauer and thanked him for his offer to help out and ordered the troops to stand down. I've also stored the collected ransom items for any future emergencies. I must say, we've got a list of nice things.

Here's what I've collected so far:

  1. Pentad - Three boxes of old notes and rejected articles from her book.
  2. Kim - Three calendars with risque color pictures.
  3. Jane Turley- One Tickling brush, feather duster and a bottom scrubber! Don't ask.
  4. Wendster - Half a bottle of sun screen and all of her gardening clothes.
  5. Robert - Half a bottle of Jack Daniels and an ashtray full of Camel butts.
  6. Bellydancegirl- One set of Zils and a very sexy scarf.
  7. Olgathetravelingbra - One box of training bras - Used.
  8. Heather- 3 pair of old running shoes.

My personal thanks to each of you for coming to the aid of our good friend Speedy in his "almost" time of need!

Golly Jeepers. Wouldn't you know it was a hoax, and I just went out and bought a black ski mask, and soap bubble blower...ready to head in, and rescue!

By the way...(forgot). You've got a great sense of humor. AND! Let's crack open the Jack Daniels, and wait for the next mission.

Tamera, be sure to hang on to your stuff. This war seems to be escalating. I'll bring the ice (and the bottle) for the next mission. I'm thrilled you can appreciate my sense of humor. I'll admit it's a bit skewed sometimes. Thanks for the comments.

Glad my items can help in the mission ;)

Hey, now you've got my stuff how am I supposed to my cleaning??Those were quality items which were irreplaceable! Can I have them back?... Unless you're planning to do some cleaning yourself in which case you can have them (on loan).

Used training bras? Yuck! No man or woman would accept them as a ransom exchange. They might accept Madonna's cones though.. at least you could use 'em as jelly moulds.

Madonna's Cones?? Ha haa!

I think the list of goodies sounds pretty good. Add a pack of Chicklets to the list ... they will be in your news paper box next week.

:~)

All's well that ends well (and if it makes us smile, all the better!)...
Glad my old shoes can be of some use; they're no longer pretty but quite reliable...

Can I have the running shoes?? I am in a big marathon 2 morrow ... and plan on coming in at least in 10097th place. (ahead of the showdogs and grandmothers)

Of course "a gift is a gift", so it's totally up to Intrepid...

The donation was intended to save lives, make the world a better place and give me a little more closet space, but Speedcat if you feel your pride is in real danger, I'm sure you could overtake at least a couple of additional grandmas in those Mizunos. Good luck to you!!

What do you think Intrepid?

Let's see, what size are they again..... Well, just a bit small for me- :) Of course you can have them! Since it's okay with Heather. If I we could find a way to give you some of Heather's running skill, maybe you'd do better in the race. Have fun and good luck.
