Put me down for the dumb vote too. It's my worst fear that one of my boys will pick this as a hobby in adulthood.
~Trying to figure out if the ones who jump have blindly banished the full thought process or have simply calculated the risk to be worth the exceptional thrills. I'm thinking your senses would remain at "alert" for a quite a while after a flight like that.
Dickster, Summer, and Heather, Having done similar (not that crazy but close) stupid things in the past, I can't be too critical of the sport. I still ski fast but I now wear a helmet. I cast a dumb vote on Extreme base jumping.
