Michael Palledorous - Courageous or Dumb?

Does the name Michael Palledorous mean anything to you? What about Wendy Peffercorn?

How about the name "Squints" - Ring a bell?

Here's a reminder..........

After exclaiming "I can't take this no more" Squints took matters into his own hands.

And Afterwards -

"Michael Squints Palledorous walked a little taller that day and we had to tip our hats to him. He was lucky she hadn't beat the crap out of him. We wouldn't have blamed her. What he did was sneaky, rotten, and low and cool. Not another one among us would have ever in a million years even for a million dollars have the guts to put the moves on the lifeguard. He did. He had kissed a woman. And he had kissed her long and good. We got banned from the pool forever that day. But every time we walked by after that, the lifeguard looked down from her tower, right over at Squints, and smiled."

I don't know about you but from where I sit, Michael Squints Palledorous is an absolute hero!

Squints!

You Rock!

What a lovely, funny film; it made me giggle out loud.

Yeah, Michael Palledorous was courageous! A pretty good trick too; I think I'll try it on my summer hols - some of those life guards are well hunky and it'll be the closest I'll ever get to snogging a younger man!

I love that movie. Funny you should post this, because two days ago we were in a baseball tournament and the opposing team reminded us of the Sandlot Kids(mix matched uniforms and quirky kids). Our team has been together for quite some time so we have uniforms and equipment. One of our moms said,"I feel like we're the snooty team from the movie The Sandlot."

So Miss Jane, help us out... What exactly is snogging?

Heather, it's a cute flick. Great for boys - Some foul language but as you said, quite inspiring.

Summer,
That's funny. Great movie huh? So did your boys win? Or did they get pummeled by the sandlot team?

Chris...

Get with the program.. You're missing out on some good laughs. :)

Why, it's a very common expression for kissing Mr I! You know - that lip puckering stuff that youg 'uns do!

Okay... Got it. Sometimes I don't speak or understand English very well. :)
