Nature's paradoxical Imperfection

Wow.

Is Nature perfect?  Can Nature be imperfect? Can we as humans judge something that we know and understand so little about? What is perfect?  What is Nature? Ponder those ideas for a few minutes but don't get too wrapped around the complexities of Nature, Paradoxes, or Perfection.  That's a jumble reserved for the likes of Haskell Curry.  Besides, thinking that deeply now about anything makes my brain hurt and it's not my intent to cause you or me any pain!

On a superficial note, about two years ago, I was walking in central London SW1, just Footsteps (shout out)  from Buckingham Palace and St. James' Park, when I spied this flower.  The color captivated me... Mango? Peach?  Hints of curry?  Yellow, red, and orange! Was it nature's intent for me to stop in my tracks and take notice? Is it nature's intent for me to stop what I'm doing right now and stare at this flower and reminisce of years, times, and experiences gone by?   Who knows?

I hope you find time today to stop and smell the flowers and enjoy my photo!  :)

Music Monday - The Jazz Cafe-London

This morning I listened to the news and learned of the wintry storm (read blizzard) that has literally brought London to a screeching halt. Any one who has lived in London can attest to the world class and updated snow removal equipment in place - NOT!
The snow storm which is the heaviest in 18 years led Mayor Boris Johnson to make the following comment:
" This is the right kind of snow, it's just the wrong kind of quantities ."
The snow also caused a Cyprus Airways flight to slip off a taxiway at Heathrow, leaving its front wheel stuck in grass. Fortunately no one was hurt.

All this thinking about London made me think of the good times I had there -

"For Queen and Country" of course!

I reminisced a bit about a place called the Jazz Cafe in Camden, London.

There I saw Swing Out Sister live and in person! They put on a great show.
Here's a cut from a few years back dedicated to all those who are waiting for the snow to melt.
I hope you enjoy it.
